Greetings everyone, as it's new year tomorrow, i would like to thank you all for rating and sharing your opinions on my work with me. As i am writing script for the next episode of DEREAL, i want to say i will probably stop using tweens in my animations, as they look weird combined with frame by frame animation (for example, head movements are frame by frame when rest of the body is using tweens)

The reason why there was only one civilian in the episode is simple, i didn't make any civilians yet, i just used the old one and turned it black, the old one still has gaps between limbs.

Oh and of course, i will make the subtitles disappear slower next time (it was my main problem since i started doing animations)

I would like to proudly announce that the first episode of DEREAL "Martial Law" is mostly completed! I'll just need to add some more scenes and then add music and sounds. The episode will most likely be released before new year, or maybe after, like a day or two.

This time i spent more time on animating and practice. I've also wrote an concept of the video in notepad and then started making the episode.

Greetings everyone, i've been working on DEREAL's first episode, and i have finished the first scene, it's a teaser of how DEREAL's Zektoran city will truly look in the series itself. Anyways, It's December now, so, Merry early Christmas!

Greetings everyone, i must announce that i redesigned KRIEGRIOT Unit again, i did that like 6 times because i couldn't decide if i like the current design or not, and stated that it is final, this time, i actually based it's new design on what i really like.



Here it is. This time i spent more time on it, it's more detailed and doesn't have gaps between each limb.

This time i don't have anything to show yet, but i plan to redesign the KRIEGRIOT Unit once more, this time i feel it will be final. I've always wanted Ventarme to have soldiers that look similar to Krieg from Warhammer, the dirty clothing and rusty helmets, covered in dust and visible marks and scratches. Their color scheme woulf be gray, brown and black, gasmask is planned to look like some modern one, or probably i'll design something unique. I will try to base their equipment on some Polish gear used by soldiers during 1985, times of PRL. It is because i recently planned that DEREAL will take place in some kind of alternate universe, where the past (from 1982) was heavily extended, that it lasted for many, many years, until Zektorax threatened Polish government and replaced their current president with Kriegman, leading to changes. I will post more progress on the design and lore, since i want to polish it (haha) and i want to feel like it's truly finished.

I was trying my best to polish the episode and finish it, for the martial law video i used classic tweens which made it look smoother, but while making the rest of the episode i ran into some problems which i fixed today, the problem i've got caused limbs of the Kriegriot character to heavily deform and glitch out while using classic tweens, after some time, i almost gave up but ended finally fixing it, turns out that converting each layer into a graphic symbol again fixed it, so i must remake entire episode once again, but don't worry, it looked bad anyways, the story didn't make any sense, it looked like a compilation of some animations. I started works too early, i feel like a total idiot now, anyways, i'll have to get a new tablet since i was working on that small wacom one tablet, i'll need something with a screen, so i can improve basically everything. I must start writing those damn scenarios for real this time.

This is how it was supposed to look from the start, before the fix, between each frame the arms would deform, now it doesn't. Turns out animation actually takes time as they say.

Works on the pilot episode are going very well, theres over 1 minute of the episode created, done in like 3, i mainly focus on animating now, but i am doing a little drawing, it's a redesign.

Also another bunch of information, a little update on Zektorian insignia. Zektorax itself has a symbol, it was made about 4 years ago, and needs a redesign. The Zektorian Race also has a symbol i've made some time ago, but i never said anywhere that it belongs to the lore of DEREAL, i just used it randomly, now it is part of the Zektorian Race, symbol of the Zektorians, citizens, soldiers, leaders, emperor.

Made in 2018, and updated from there. First letter of the word "Zektorax" "Z" (Before anyone asks, it was made before the current events, i don't want to change it, it has a big meaning to me, i hope it doesn't look similar to the one used by you know who)

As i continue to remake all of my assets and the pilot episode, i would like to thank you all for rating my recent short animation, three stars in that short amount of time is truly something i'm happy about, this site's judgement system is something that can make people notice my work. I recently replaced KRIEGRIOT's main weapon, before, it was an AK, now it is an XM177, i really like its design, the short mag and unusual flash hider, i must say, they will be using more weapons, but it will be rare, also, there will be something from Zektorian technology.

The previous weapon, AK, wasn't properly rigged, it was just an image, mag couldn't be detached, and bolt wouldn't move, so instead of editing it i just remade and replaced the gun. I think it would fit more the current KRIEGRIOT deisgn.

Greetings everyone, today i'll be showing you my new design of the Ventarme's KRIEGRIOT Unit, i must tell you, that i was too fast to announce that the current design was final, it's kind of my main problem with this, i sometimes draw or design something and say that it is the final design and it won't change, but alright, i'll make sure to polish everything as much as i can so the first episode won't look like it was made by a complete newbie just beginning to use the program. Some time ago with help of a kind man i've mentioned before, we both discovered that the main cause of the glitching rig limbs were caused by EDAPT IK extensions combined with normal layer parenting and symbols scaled over 4.000%

Now, i make sure to not make those mistakes again, i check scale of every symbol i make and resize it by double clicking. I am still learning Animate, i am currently spending more time for it, so DEREAL Pilot episode will take some time to be made, i will write scenario and animate it.
